this is my Dennison-cased bumper. My dad lifted it from his father when he left home for university. I "borrowed" it from him under similar circumstances a generation later...not worn often anymore but still running well.

Here is ref. 2518 from 1948-49 with chronomètre-rated movement cal. 343 (c.5,000 produced), accuracy around 8 s/d.

Hello All,
Very nice pieces all around.

Mine is a 28.10 bumper from 1948.
I was given it as a family heirloom when I got married, twenty years ago.

Redialed, but the case and movement are all original.
I service it regularly and it runs very well when I wear it , which is maybe once a month.

I found this dial online and find it in good condition. Is it hard to find a 2576 with a cal 343 in bad condition for a restoration?

I have two. The date at 6 is a calibre 355, and the other one is (as I recall) a 342. Thesecond one is a survivor. Case, dial, crystal, crown all replaced. It had been tortured by the previous owner. Serviced, mainspring replaced, and it is a very reliable runner.

KILLER. Love both of these.
