Where can I find the current list of brown leather straps offered by Omega?

The one I know about is 032CUZ006728 which is on the Speedy 57 I think.

Is there an online catalogue I can sift through?

There's nothing online from Omega outside of what's on their regular website that I'm aware of. You could go into an authorized dealer where they'll have a big book that shows all straps sold with current watch offerings. But there are a lot of bands for discontinued watches that are still available for purchase as replacement straps from Omega, and those won't be in that book.

I like buying OEM straps for my Omegas that came with a bracelet. What what I usually do is figure out the lug width of the watch and then go to watchrecon.com where you can browse pictures of all contemporary Omegas ever sold new with a strap. Select the watch with comparable lug width that has the strap you like, provide the model number of that watch to an authorized dealer, and nine times out of ten they'll be able to obtain the strap for you.

You just have to avoid all the straps that have rounded ends that sit flush to the case for that integrated look, as they will not fit perfectly to the case of your watch if it's a different model. You also need to be aware of whether the strap you want comes with a deployant clasp or a buckle, both of which usually have to be purchased separately.

 

Having said all of that, the current Speedy '57 straps should have you mostly covered for 20 mm brown leather straps in both dark brown and light brown. If your watch has 21 mm lugs, the current Seamaster 300 has a nice light brown strap and the discontinued Speedmaster Broad Arrow GMT model 3881.30.37 has a dark brown leather strap (for deployant) that can still be ordered.

I have the Silver Snoopy cordura on my Speedy Pro, and was looking to change things up with a brown strap. I may visit the AD and see what all is available, but the 032CUZ006728 looks like a good option at this point.

Which brown strap would you recommend pairing with the Speedy Pro, if a customer came to you with that question?

I all ready have a brushed Omega deployant.

 

My preference in straps goes in waves. I currently prefer Alligator. Hard to suggest something to someone I don’t know though. It’s a personal choice. What ever works best for your style. I will be getting a moon watch soon and won’t be long behind you in this debate. Haha.

Why do some leather straps start with 032CU and others start with 98??

 

I wish so badly that this entire strap catalog would be on the omega website for e-commerce. I would even just settle for the catalogue in the website so that I could look through and at least know what I want.
