Omega bracelet 1502, fake?

Hi all,

I recently found this Omega bracelet at a flea market but found that it unfortunately does not fit my grandfather's old Seamaster.
When looking online for the number 1502 found in the clasp the bracelets look very different. Does this mean the entire thing is fake or was the clasp maybe just re-used?

Thanks in advance!

Hard to be certain from those photos but Theresa good chance both clasp and bracelet are real, just mis-matched.
The clasp looks like it could be fairly new so perhaps a service replacement clasp using whichever they had available

Yes, perhaps a 1502 clasp was swapped onto that bracelet. A 1502 bracelet should be a 5-row BoR, IIRC.

That said, the clasp engraving looks more modern than I'm accustomed to.

I agree. That’s why I think the original clasp might have been knackered, a direct replacement wasn’t available and so a service centre used this as it’s as close as they could get

OP, what does your grandfather's Seamaster look like? What is the reference?
