I just found a original bracelet for my 1969 Connie. 2 links need to be removed, but the pin setup on the 1163 seems different than the normal “push the pin out”. They are spring loaded on each side. Can someone give me the process for removing the link pins?

Push the pin in with an appropriate tool, so it's not inside the outter row of beads anymore. Apply pressure to this outter bead in one direction (if you hold it like in your picture, push it down, for example) while pushing the rest of the bracelet in the other direction. Slowly remove the tool and the spring will snap out of the outter bead. Do the same on the other side. Prepare yourself for a lot of gunk to come out of it. :D

Thanks, your technique worked perfectly. Two links removed and she fits like a champ.

Now all that's missing is the correct spring bars for the clasp, so the ends don't poke out anymore :D Glad it worked though, enjoy your watch!
