·Hi All,
the clasp on the bracelet for my dad's Omega Speedmaster Mk IV has broken - a spring pin has shot out, but taking it to a friend of mine, who knows a thing or six about simple watch repairs, showed that a standard spring pin doesn't fit.
Could anyone tell me what I need to do to repair it? It feels like it should be trivial, but there is a small hook on the clasp that should hold the pin in place (just about visible in pic #5), but it just doesn't fit. The clasp should simply click into place, and obviously it doesn't. Is there a custom pin that we need to get from somewhere?
We've taken some photos and are attached:
any help would be greatly appreciated
Paul.
