No they will not. Unless it's obvious. Most people that work at them know little if they will comment means little. There are a few stories of them calling vintage watches fake that are real. And others of them calling newer very good fakes as real. Mine will offer to send it in for service to verify.
Is this before or after you buy one from eBay without doing enough research? (He asks, having read the other two threads you created about this).
There are much, much better ways to make sure you don't buy a lemon. Namely plenty of research on here.
Thanks! Also I decided to just post the watch in question http://www.ebay.com/itm/382001702205Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I am considering buying. It looks to be in excellent condition, with box and tags. I don't know why, but there is still some hesitation. I read the seller feedback and seems very good
Always good practise to compare any watch you're considering to known good examples. That should help you avoid a fake, but also see if any non correct parts have been added etc.
I compared to some online and it seems to check out. But, my eyes might have missed a few things. Do you folks think it's genuine?
It may depend on the country and laws in that country, but Omega confiscating fakes is not their policy.
