Jumped onto eBay last week during my lunch break as I usually do and I found this at the top after clicking on "newly listed". Absolutely cool! I love it! The Speedmaster Plate is solid metal and most likely brass IMO. My light makes the display look tan, but it is most certainly white. Watch pillows are made of leather. What do you think?

My Speedmaster Triple Date is currently out of commission waiting on new spring bars to come in at my AD. Then it will be complete.

Very cool.....normally these items are the property of the company (Omega) and dealers can't just dispose of them as they see fit. Many years ago I bought a Patek Philippe pocket watch and it was displayed on a leather covered stand with a mirror so you could see the back, and it had a little brass 'Patek Philippe' plate on it. I asked the Swiss AD if I could have the display stand as part of the deal. They had to actually talk to PP in Geneve to get their approval.

    Anyway, good find.

Great find! I was in the Omega AD yesterday and they had just taken possession of one of those large gold astronauts for the 50th anniversary display. Apparently they are all signed for and have to be returned to Omega at the end of the campaign. No chance of a good customer getting one? Nope.
