Hello dear community, I took a gamble (as usual) and bought this Omega Bracelet Ref 1503. Do you think it’s genuine?
Sadly I didn’t realised that the bracelet endlinks weren’t the same.
I got one 70 and a 529, for which models where those endlinks normally used? And do you think a 70 endlink would fit a 60s Seamaster?
Thanks for very much for your answers.

    Hi,

    Bracelet looks genuine.

The 70's fit a wide range of watches from the 1950's and 1960's. Try it on a watch and see.
The 529 are for some of the seamaster cosmics. Perhaps the c-cases...

Asking if it will fit a 60's Seamaster is like asking if a wheel will fit a 60's Ford.

In very general terms The 70 and 570 endlinks are for the round cased, automatic Seamasters from the 60's such as the 165.010, 166.010 etc.

@BenBagbag thank you very much! Good to know, It's my first Omega vintage bracelet.
@Davidt Okay, good to know, thanks for your response. In that case, really happy to hear that.

Sorry if my question sounded silly.
Do you know where I could find a 70 endlink?
    Thanks

Probably on eBay. I'm not sure if Omega still produces NOS versions of these, but I think not.

Keep an eye here and on eBay. 70's and 570's come up reasonably frequently.

Are you willing to sell the 529 end links? I have my father's Seamaster Cosmic with 235.017 case and would really like to get rid of the "stretchy" aftermarket band that is on it due to missing end links. Thanks in advance.

Hello Valentino, I sadly only have one 529 end link and it was probably polished in the past to fit a 18mm lug width.
So I don't think it's fair to sell it.
It's currently on my Constellation, but this week I should get a better fitting endlink.
If this works out, you can have my 529 endlink for free, if you are interested.

    Here a picture of it.

    Nice Constellation!
It looks like 18mm is what I need so it may not have been re-sized after all.
Appreciate your generosity, you can email me at [email protected] and I will send mailing address and e-transfer to cover postage.
