Was in the AD today and we got on talking about books and he mentioned the Omega Book - A Journey Through Time, saying how amazing it was so asked if he had any to which he answered no. The next words out of my mouth were 'order me one please' to which he replied 'sure, it's $400 plus tax' thank god I was sat down.

is it really worth $400? I mean really??

Looked on amazon and read a bit about it on the net but there is not much on it, does anyone have thoughts on it?

    thx

Before such a publication is out, untold number of hours has gone into its preparation - manuscript, photography and research, proof-reading, editing, lay-out and again proof-reading several times over, before the whole lot goes to the printer. Then comes the binding.

Though not thoroughly complete, I think the price of $400.00 is indeed reasonable. Little wonder, it is out of stock.

Any book, catalog or brochure is worth keeping, for reference purposes.

    Thank-you.

    A very wise decision, indeed.

    You will not regret.

    Thank-you.

My Darlin' gave it to me for Xmas.
She did well, it's an excellent reference and also just a great way to spend a couple of hours browsing for a grail.
    I recommend it.
    ;)

The bible according to Bienne, haven't bought one myself, but A Journey Through Time contains the only known photo of an Omega Seamaster Stepped Pie-Pan date-at-six other than the ones I've taken. That alone makes it cool.

Yes, but why pay $400 plus tax, when Watchtime sells it for $380. shipped.

I can get it for AU$400, so not worth much of a saving.

I always look at it in the King of Prussia Boutique. Very cool. The pages are very strong too. It will last like the watch. Awesome staff too.
