I am a huge Bond-fan and even though Bond had originally a Rolex (the novel character created by Ian Fleming), I admire the Omega Bond -watches that we’ve seen on a silver screen.
I am sad that I wasn’t into watches on 2015 when the Spectre LE Omega Seamaster was released. I think that is the best Omega Bond watch there is. I was very close in buying one used, but then I got scared:
5 years old, soon out of warranty, with premium price...
Have you any Bond watch? Share your pic&story, please!
Would you wait for the next one released with the next film or would you buy the older one used? Have you done so?
This is IMO the best looking:

    Hi,
Over the years Bond has used several watches in the films. The main Omega’s are 2541,2531,2220,2201 as well as the Spectre watch you mention. Many James Bond websites will list them from each film Jamesbondlifestyle being one. If properly serviced all should be a reliable timepiece.
In relation the the Limited Edition (Anniversary) watches, for me, they have too much branding on and are not worth the additional mark up on the standard watch.
According to the latest rumour there will be a release of a watch that is worn in the next film and a Limited Edition (Anniversary) watch for the film. The best advice is go and try a few on and see what you think is best for you.

    Thanks!

Yeah: I think the best thing is now to wait and see what the new LE watches will be like!

Does someone have the link to the 2 wonderfully charts of screen worn and LE watches? I’m mobile and can’t find it.

Could this be closest to the Bond watch that you could buy now?

The watch in the top picture is the 2201.50.00 from Quantum of Solace. These are available on the pre-owned market quite reasonably. I would only go for a reference that was used in a film e.g. 2201.50.00.

I've owned two 2500 Planet Ocean's and I really liked the Spectre 300mc, however I the premium over the standard 300mc lead me to pass on the LE model.

The next watch appears to be a no date Seamaster on mesh:

I was wondering if it was in titanium.
