    Hi
I am running my MKII telestop project and I was sourcing and 1159/154 bracelet , at the end I got 2 of them now I have to choose witch one I keep and with one I resale both of the. Are 1159/154 that fits MKII speedmaster.

But they are « different » the build 11 and the build 30 , in terms of state the 30 is better looks close to new and the 11 looks more old .

    Any advise ? Thanks Paul

Hi Fatcat. I've actually been looking for an 1159/154 build 30 to replace the one on the Speedmaster Professional MkII my father gave me. If you decide to sell that one, please let me know.

Hello, I would like to know more about "11" and "30" stamped on 1159/154 bracelets.
Which is the right one for 1969 Mark2 Racing?

    Thank you
    Paolo

11 is with screws the first release and the rarest , after the 30 comes later

So, is the "11" the oldest and the correct one to my 1969 Mark2 Racing?
    Thank you

No the Mark II racing need to be from 69 to March 70 after was only 1172 bracelet , the 1159 with screws looks better quality and rarer the other one is a regular .

    I think you mean 1162 :)

On the advertisements from the late 60’s you see the 145.012 Speedmaster with 1039 bracelet beside the Mark II with 1159 bracelet. On advertisements from the early 70’s you see the Mark II on a 1162 bracelet. Do you people think the 1159 bracelet was no longer available ?

Yes the 1159 was discontinued in the beginning of 1970, after the 1162 comes, that means if you have a MKII from 1970 and over there is a good chance 1159 was not fitted it, if you ask the extract of archives sometimes they have the info at least for mine ( 014 & 037) where the bracelet model was specified in the extract .
