·I’ve owned this for a little while now and whilst I love it I am not wearing it enough so have opted to move it on. This watch is a completely original example, original case, movement, bezel, tritium dial and hands; the watch is as it left the factory and wears its originality very well.
It has since been to Omega UK and has been serviced at Swiss Time Services and has been catered for by their vintage restoration department. This is a bespoke serviced handled by the companies service manager and the work carried out as a bespoke job.
Under this service the watch has had a complete movement overhaul, stripped and serviced and is running perfectly. The case has had a light refinish but retains its original character; the bezel is original and has had a slight polish but retains the age and patina of a 36 year old dive watch. The dial is untouched and original tritium; it has aged to a wonderful honey patina with matching tritium hand set.
The watch is fitted on a NOS Corfam brown 22mm band from the period + an isofrane style rubber strap and non Omega mesh.
Condition:
Case: Original to the watch, refinished at Omega to factory specifications
Dial and hands: Original tritium dial and hands with stunning patina
Bezel: Original to the watch, refinished but showing wonderful age and patina
Movement: Stunning, original to the watch with no loss of plating and running perfectly
Bands: Original period corfam, 22mm high quality mesh and new timefactors rubber diver
This watch is a stunner and most importantly it is original, it shows its age extremely well and has a wonderful patina whilst at the same time benefiting from a two-year omega warranty
