I was wondering could somebody help me? I'm new to the group and quite frankly can't work the internet too well. I was wondering could anybody tell me the date of the omega watch I have acquired? I can't get the back off it, it's in good condition and the date has to be changed by turning the dial round and round til it reaches the 12. Obviously I'm not used to this feature always used modern watches. Thank you in Advance

Please take the watch to a watchmaker to remove the back. Be sure to bring a camera to take pictures of the inside of the caseback and movement.

From the outside I can tell you the following:

    1. Probably a mid-1950's to early 1960's watch.
    2. Dial has been refinished, which hurts it as a collectible.
    3. Seconds hand has been repainted white.
    4. Crown has been replaced.

The rest will need to wait until you get some more specific information about your watch.
