    Can this be a real Omega, or just a pure old fake??ll input is wellvcome.

    I'm guessing its a recased pocket watch from the crown at 3/ sub seconds at nine. As a result, its a fake case, dial and hands and the value of the watch is basically gone.

    eBay is full of these pocket watch conversions being described as Art Deco.

    Ignore them.

    What are the words at 6 o'clock? And why would anyone put a black sub-seconds hand against a black background? I almost thought it was missing.
