Hi OF,
I suppose I'm not the only one...
I asked an extract for my 345.0808 Axxxx.... And they refund me because they don't find it...😲
Serial is in the good range (48.240.xxxx) but they told me that it happens sometimes...:whipped::whipped::whipped:

Question : do you know if, like for the first generation, the second one has been delivered only to Germany? 😉

Mine is 48,269,xxx, and was purchased in Canada. How can you tell, by the serial number, whether it is first or second generation? You list the serial number of your as 48,240,xxxx. I read that as having too many numerals to be decipherable as a legitimate serial number. No chance you gave Omega the wrong S#?

- the answer to the first question is: MoonWatchOnly...
first gen is easy to recognize (serial between the lugs, copper caliber, serial on the display without the A...) and is in 48.169.xxx range.
- you're right. xxx is enough... But no, Omega got the right one.
- after some research about that, I finally found that I'm not the only one... it seems that the 2nd gen has been delivered worlwide, not only to Germany (like for the 1st gen). And it seems that all the archive of the worlwide package has been lost... I found 3 colleagues in the same case.
But I don't know how many 2nd gen among the 1000 have been sent worldwide...
Maybe I will find here other members in the same case...
- last thing: on your pic, you write "345.0808 introduced in 1980": no, it is in 1985 for the generation 1 (copper cal.). 1988 for the generation 2 (gold cal.). And 1989 for the other unnumbered 345.0808 (gold cal.).
Your picture, with the 1479 bracelet, seems to prove it is a unnumbered one.
