Hello,
I bought a Aqua Terra rubber strap for my Diver 300m in blue because I saw this combination here and there and really liked it, but I cant really get it fitted, the strap seems to not perfectly align with the holes in the lugs, one side I could get in, but as you see in that photo the spring bar bents a bit.

The springbars I used were 1,7mm thick and I think thinner ones would make it fit, or the bent springbars from Omega.

Is here someone that has the same combination and maybe can help how the problem is solved?

Thank you!

Thinner spring bars would fix the bending for sure. The OB I frequent has done this mod as well as other bracelet and strap swaps and they always mention using thinner bars. I have the apollo 11 bracelet on my 1863 using thinner bars and it fits perfectly.

I wonder how well this rubber strap would work on an 1863.

Please do share any updates and pictures of how it looks. Plan to do the same thing.

I’ve seen a handful of pictures of people putting the AT rubber strap on 1861/1863 speedies so it can work.
