·I am listing for sale this Omega Aqua Terra from my collection. I picked it up in a multi-watch trade in 2020, and have not worn it (other than to take these photos) although it was worn by the prior owner as you can see from the photos. It comes with the original Omega wood presentation box, white outer box, owners manual, pictogram and warranty card cards, leather card sleeve, and pouch. This watch is reference number 231.12.42.21.01.002 with calibre 8500 master co-axial movement. Case diameter is 41.5mm.
The rest of the specifications are listed below. Overall the watch is in excellent/new running condition; overall exterior condition is good noting one scuff on the upper right lyre lug, which you can see in the photo below. Any signs of wear in the photos is just "schmutz" that will clean off. I don't know too much about this piece, like I said, it was a complicated multi-watch trade + cash and this one just went in the safe; what I can see from my research preparing to sell, is that watch probably came with a brown calf-skin strap with deployant clasp originally from Omega. This one has a black leather Omega strap (like new condition) and Omega clasp. This is how it came to me. Retail on this watch was around $5900, current sales for used watches with box/papers looks to be $4200.
Given the scuff and strap replacement, I'm pricing this one at $3200 which includes shipping fully insured in North America. Shipping to rest of world is available at buyers expense.
This is the most competitive listing for this reference by a substantial amount, and that would give you the option to grab a bargain, or, opt to have the case gently refinished to remove the scuff and still be well below current retail.
