Any reason the first deliveries are coming to the UK? Is that typical? And how long should we expect till it starts shipping to the US?

For anyone that owns (and wears one). What’s the bracelet like in terms of adjustment. I know there is no glide system here, but how many holes are there in the clasp? Is it easy to get a good fit and a range of adjustment if the weather heats up?

I’d have liked some kind of adjustment system at this price, but I guess it would have made the clasp more bulky than the bracelet would take.

I’m picking one up today but it is ironic that uk are getting them before the USA.
After all it was one of America’s greatest achievements in history.

Hi,
here we were talking about that point .. 4 to 5 posts following about that (only 2 holes are in the clasp for a micro adjustment):

It has two clasp positions. What surprised me is no slide adjust like the similar flat link bracelet on the 60th anniversary speedmaster

Whilst just 2 positions seem odd, the actually links are very small. So it would not be that difficult to get a good fit, where the loosest clasp pink would do summer and the other for winter. It’s about half a link of adjustment.

Ultimately I think it’s very comfortable. Try and get the links fitment right and the clasp adjustment should be all you need.

I don’t recall omega saying it’s sold out. I assume it would say so on their website / or contact boutique.

But everyone who wants one who has contacted a boutique have been told the list is either closed or very long.

It has been fairly typical for the last few releases. I’m in uk and my seamaster 1948 turned up first.

I don’t know why but I’d guess other Euro countries could be first but owners just don’t post here.

At an Omega UK event a couple of weeks ago I enquired about going the waiting list and was told that it was closed as all the watches had been allocated. I guess that once the initial dispatch has been completed Omega will assess if they have any unsold due to people not collecting on their orders for what ever reason, these watches (if any) would then be available, waiting lists would be offered and then retail if any still remained unsold.

3861 is doing well after a couple of days.

Bit early but it has surprised me by not gaining or loosing anytime since I first wound it. +0.

When I first pickup a watch I keep an eye on the timing once a day and once in the morning. With this watch there has been no variation during wear or overnight.

I’m sure they are not all like that. My 1948 is +5

Congratulations, just thinking this morning, glad I decided to get mine. Perhaps the most quirky / interesting speedmaster I own.
