Call it whatever you like HRV, HEV etc. it is the same thing and yes it is fairly useless. I worked as a Saturation Diver in the 1970's and did not even use a watch at all.

I'm in the minority but I'm smitten by this.
This is my grail watch now. I really want one.
Please god be under 10k.

I can start saving.

I would think it would be 100k (dollars). I have no real basis for this number. It just seems right.

I'm waiting for them to create a watch that can withstand being submerged in molten lava for as long as you wish. That would be about as necessary as this thing LOL

Like the combination of dial colour, the blue, no date and titanium. Be cool if that got translated on to a PO or seamaster

definitively a wristwatch writing history and a timepiece I would like to see in the renewed Omega museum (Swatch house?) in Bienne/Biel - Switzerland within a fortnight or so... 👍

That didn't take long... former NASA astronaut & first US female to make a spacewalk, Kathryn Sullivan wearing an Omega Planet Ocean... June 07, 2020 first woman to visit the Challenger Deep in the Mariana trench... onboard DSV " Limiting Factor "

There's two watches, and the one on the black strap looks like it has a He valve too

According to Omega's website, the one on her right wrist is an X-33.

...with Omega revisiting the Ultra Deep (even though Victor is back in Challenger Deep right now), I can't help but suspect there's another Seamaster announcement on the way... Maybe the Ultra is finally being commercialized in a 'civilian' variant?

Probably the next gen PO (which is due soon) will be influenced by this model.

This was very much my thoughts with Omega promoting the Ultra Deep on their IG pages this week.

Obvious competitor to the Deep Sea, which they don't currently have.

A new hockey puck that's what it is. Omega needs to stop trying so hard.

I really hope Omega markets this watch or a version of this watch. What can I say I love a big watch.
