    Newbie here.
I’ve just been given what I think is a Omega 145.017. I’d like to get it on my wrist but I’m unsure as to where to get it serviced and what to get done. I’m based in Sunderland, UK so looking for anywhere in the North East that will do a good job.
Sorry for the pics, tricky with a phone.
    Many Thanks

    Welcome along.

    Nice watch! :D

No recommendations in the North East, but I'd highly recommend Swiss Time Services in Essex.

Cheers. I think it’s a belter. I haven’t got a clue about getting if serviced. So all advice will be greatly received.

You'd be surprised what a different it will make if you just polish the crystal.

That’s a pretty watch. You really don’t see these about much.

I'm not familiar with that product, but any polish made for acrylic/plastic will probably work. Polywatch is made specifically for watch crystals, but it's pretty overpriced. Toothpaste will work in a pinch, but it's not the best. I use Novus, but many people use polish that is made for plastic headlights, etc.
