Omega Abbreviations for parts!

    Hi all found this abbreviations for Omega parts. Thought might be useful to everyone so sharing!

    Bump!! Hope this is helpful to some people!

    Also I have a quick question. I realised most of Omega parts are not solid gold. They have steel on top of which there is a very thin layer of gold. Is there any specific part (abbreviations) from the above which signifies solid gold?

    By "parts" do you mean the internal parts (wheels, bridges etc)?

    The codes shown above are for watch case and bracelet metal codes. To identify solid gold items, refer to examples with codes AB to CA.

    Ah. Ok. Thank you. I had this book with the above abbreviations. I didn't quite understand what they meant. I think they are for external parts.
