Good Morning All,

I am new to the forum so thank you for having me, there are some great threads on here and looking forward to sharing my input.

This may be a regular request or may be that it draws a blank every time but I wanted to ask if anyone knows where I can get a copy of the above?

Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Your best option is an Omega owned boutique - the book is out of print, but stock is still available (despite nonsense touted by sellers trying to shift their copies for much more than the MRSP).

The 800-pages OJTT hardcover book is more than 12 years old... could Omega (...) an updated version

I believe nobody at Omega is even considering putting his name on an updated version of such a book where the room for fails or erratic information is endless, considering how fast Internet goes on fire for any reason nowadays.

Try and ask in Your local OB - Omega Boutique 📖
I def. Second this proposal, but most answers I have received in the US OB, is that it is no longer available. Every so often we hear about someone unearthing a BNIB copy of this book, but quite rare. I haven't been too lucky so far.

Note that however this book is still the best option to have a maximum of different Omega watches consolidated in one book with descriptions and photographs, a lot of information is now outdated and has been proven erratic in the meantime. Let alone the inconsistent watches pictured or advertisements featuring watches in inconsistent configurations.

It's a great source to learn about the history of Omega. It's certainly not the book you can use as a reference book to compare your future purchases with.

Just called the local Omega boutique in Zurich today. They said the HQ in Biel/Bienne told them to stop selling them in the boutiques. All requests have to go through the HQ. Indicative pricing CHF 350.

Hm that's interesting. Thanks to the OF I had already learned that you might still get that book through Omega Boutiques or even AD. So I asked my AD some weeks ago and they told me it is possible to order it for ~250€. Unfortunately it didn't arrive until now, I really hope that I will get it 😀
Meanwhile I bought the Master of Omega to ease the waiting time...

Try ´phoning the museum at Biel. they were very helpful when I contacted them a few years ago when they seemed to have disappeared from the shelves.

Thanks everyone. I spoke to someone in my local boutique who suggested there may be a copy there and I am waiting for them to come back to me so fingers crossed.

My 40th birthday is coming up, so I will outsource the sourcing to my wife 😁. Just have to tell her not to buy the one currently offered on Amazon for €599 😲

Ok, I took matters back into my own hands. I contacted the Omega HQ and their official stance is that they no longer have any copies (or I'm just not VIP enough).

By pure luck and coincidence I found a new example (German edition) sold on a local online market place. If another one pops up, I'll post it here.

But it is an auction and not finished yet. So I guess no need to feel bad, let's see where this one ends...

Oh, you are right. Didn't see that. Oops, sorry for that.

No problem. Thanks for sharing 👍
I am still looking for that book and I really have to check with my AD if they are really getting it or if I should also look somewhere else...

I also want to find this book (in English) but I haven't seen any reasonable offer so far...
