    Hello all,

Where does one find this book? I checked online at omegawatches.com, on eBay, on Amazon and on WUS as well as OF.

It appears it is rather hard to source.

I would love to read it as I know the history of the company, but not the history of each product offering.

    Any suggestions?

Approximately two weeks ago, I bought a copy on behalf of a friend, from Omega Boutique Sydney. Immediately after, I posted a message on this forum, advising respectable members that OB Sydney had only one copy left.

    Please refer to this: http://omegaforums.net/threads/what-a-heavy-book.10142/

Tomorrow, I shall check with OB Sydney, to find out whether or not it is still available.

(It is now, 11.33pm Friday in Sydney.)

    Thank you.

Thank you, sea monster. I will call the OB in Tyson's Corner once they open up. I hadn't even thought of that!

It is wise for you to do so, since posting the 'bible' from Sydney to you will cost at least an arm. It is a big and heavy book.

I had one and lent it to a friend. As of now, friend and book have both disappeared.

It is a must for all Omega-lovers and you will not regret.

    Good luck.

    Thank-you.

An Omega-lover cannot afford not to own this spectacular Omega publication.

Probably the reprint or second print-run will be even more expensive, unless of course Omega decide to use a second-rate printer.

    Thank you.

Longines' book is heavier, and goes into more detail about the thinking and planning the company did with their movements. However, it does NOT show pictures of watches or make reference to what cases match up with what calibers or what dials & hands matched those cases and calibers. Costs 1/4 of AJTT so it was certainly worth it, but I still use AJTT 5 times more often. Bought 2 serious solid gold watches using it as a reference, and if not for AJTT I would have bought a franken Seamaster 321. The 321 was inside a case designated for the 861 (145.016 instead of the correct 145.006) which was an easy spot with the book. Ended up buying a correct 145.006 that was listed at the same time.
