Hello, I was wondering if any of you could help me work out what I am seeing with a Speedy pro I currently have in my possession (ST-145.022). I sent it to an Omega service center to have its condition assessed (no issues), however the serial number they have written on the assessment form is a bit puzzling - 4925xxxx with an 861 movement. From my previous understanding, I thought that the moonwatch serial numbers went up to 4840xxxxx towards the end of the late 90s, before switching to a new number system starting from 77000XXX. As such, I was wondering if someone could help shed some light on what I have here. I've speculated that this may be an 861 movement from a line other than the speedmaster pro series that has been placed into a moonwatch, but I haven't contacted Omega yet to check (thought I would ask around first). Any assistance greatly appreciated!
