Have a cal 625 with a plastic medallion insert for s/n / calibre marker. Anyone have advice for what type of cleaning solutions / methods are safe for this? I assume Omega knows how to make a good movement, but this feels like a pretty Micky Mouse solution; dirt & grime under the medallion, & printing not even close to being on center... Could remove it & then glue it back in, but seems like there should be better options than this (& hopefully there are). Cheers!
I just run these through the cleaning machine as normal. I've never had one get damaged from doing that...
Ive run these through the ultrasonic with an ammonia based cleaning solution and also never had any issues.
