so i picked up an omega F6231 with a 342 bumper auto.. the hair
spring is a bit messed up and im not sure if there is supposed to me a ring to hold the movement in or just straps but whatever it is is missing.. also need a hex style ring to hold the back in.. i really like this watch and need help finding parts. the movement looks unmolested to me but maybe im wrong.. does anyone have any of the parts i need or know where to get them?

 

actually i could really use the back too cause those holes go right through

 

Sadly I think it's either a lost cause or a money pit.

Caseback and case ring will be hard to source unless you find a donor somewhere.

The movement has missing parts, obvious ones are regulator assembly, casing tabs and screws and who knows what lies beneath.

Save yourself some heartache and move on.
