This little screw that hold the suspension spring? Is that right? Should it stick up so much? Maybe it doesn't interfere with anything? Like the pallet fork och balance wheel?

It's the screw that holds the shock absorber assembly in place on some older versions of this and the 550 series movements. On a more recent movement where the Incabloc assembly presses into the main plate, you won't have this screw. It's normal and doesn't interfere - I'm sure you could see that it wasn't contacting anything as you were taking it apart, right?

    Cheers, Al

Thanks Archer. The movement is from the 60' something. It worked out great. I just thought it looked a little longer then at had to that all. Up and running again?
