Hi everyone, I need some help. I have a 503 OMEGA SEAMASTER CALENDAR Automatic. The problem I have is the crown is not matching and just a plain crown with no omega mark. I am looking for an original crown. Also I know who how to remove the crown/stem from the watch. Is the stem glue on to the crown or does it screw off. So I need some where can I get parts/parts # or if someone has one for sale let me know thanks.

We could make a better stab at advising you if you would be so kind as to provide some photos of your watch.

If the crown is glued on then it is not a factory-authorized repair.

    Crowns are available.

And now for a shot of the watch's dial?

I do love the 1940s to 1960s Omega watches.

    Thanks.

It would appear that your watch's dial has been refinished.

Where did you find your watch?

I'm a huge leather strap fan for watches and hardly keep any watches on bracelets. Others feel that leather straps are an offense to the eye. It's whatever suite your tastes.

You can't just buy a crown. You also need the winding stem as the current one was cut to fit the crown thats on it. New stem has to be cut to fit the signed crown and adjustments need to be done to make sure it fits properly.

If you don't know what your doing. You could damage the stem (improper cut) or damage the threads on the crown.

I'v done it loads of times and every once in a while still mess up the crown threads
