    I found a picture of the dial[​IMG]

    Definitely a redial, and not a very good one. I can't see to find another Ref. 2879 caseback with a cal. 491 movement for comparison.

    Watch comes from Montevideo, Uruguay. Hotbed of frankenwatches.

    I'd recommend staying away from this one.

    Thanks . By the way just for info were there any 38mm automatic omega made in the same era ?
