I am extremely apprehensive to take the dial off to verify if it is a redial. The movement is sincerely pristine. Any opinions if the dial is a redial. Thanks Pat

I assume you mean 2782?

The answer is that there are far fewer 2648s and 2652s than 2782s. By 1954 when the 2782 was launched Omega was ramping up production owing to the popularity of the Constellation.
