Hi. I need some help about this watch. My friend, he's a watchmaker owns this watch. He wants to sell it, I want to buy it.. The price with which both agree is 5000eur. There really are no clear guidelines for values of redialed watches, but if you are both happy with the price, then it is reasonable to consider it fair.
if you want to buy it and he wants to sell it that i think is the definition of a market or trade that said, i have no idea what resale would be given the issues you state
I was recently at a watch fair and was looking at a very similarly cased 33.3 with an original but heavily degraded dial. The seller was asking €6k but I'm sure would have accepted ( significantly ) less. I'd therefore say €5k is about on the money. The question is how long and how much will it take to source a good original dial?
