Can anyone show me an image of a movement for a 33.3 CHRO mono-push? I mean a real mono-push. Some of the early watches had a single ‘olive-shaped’ button (at 2 o’clock) but also a reset button through the crown – and the mechanism was almost the same as the later two-button versions. But the first movement was a true mono-push. I’m not sure that the diagrams in AJTT show a real ‘monopush’ movement. The section on 33.3 CHRO (page 532) shows two watches (ref CK710), items 54 and 2577, which are the watches I am referring to. Here’s an image of an early 33.3 CHRO (mono-push) that doesn’t fit the data! Any help or comments would be appreciated.
Its amazing how uncluttered and open that movement is especially compared to even the 321, you've almost got enough room to swing a cat around the column wheel area.
Many thanks. I had assumed the droopy fork had come from that direction – but I was thrown by the ‘Omega’. Much appreciated. Tom
