·Hi guys! In order to reduce a bit my collection I put for sale another little Omega jewel. This is a lovely and very hard to find Omega "Teddington" watch, made for Brazilian market during late 40s. These watches featured an originally red star below the Omega logo. Nowadays there are lots of fake Teddington made simply putting a brand new red star on old dials; this one appears to be original and truly faded because of years. The red colour now is a lovely orange/yellow tone upon this really fascinating creamy dial.
The slogan for this watch is: simplicity. As you can see dial is really minimal, with mirror gold indexes, and minute readings on the most external part of it. Case is 35mm (all steel of course) but with no bezel, so it wears waaaay bigger. Leaf hands are lovely, and overall this watch is really bright and readable. Specific ref for this watch is 2320.
(please note: on the caseback ref is signed as 2320 1W. I don't know what "W" stays for).
Case is in absolutely amazing and unpolished, never touched conditions, as well as the great Omega 30t2SC movement. I don't know when watch was serviced but everything's working perfectly. I went to my watchmaker before this sale post and he told me this jewel doesn't need a service, for the moment. From serial number I date this watch to 1947.
For this little, nice, and not easy to find Brazilian jewel my super price is 890€, with free EU shipment. Overseas buyers are welcome. Paypal is always my preferred option. Me and watch are located in Italy, lots of references to provide if needed.
Thank you guys, thank you OF.
