    Hi Everyone,

I've been looking to acquire an Omega with the 30T2 movement for awhile now. A few good ones slipped my hands recently but i am still on the look out. Until then i was wondering if any 30T2 owners on this forum and if you could share your experience with them and maybe a picture.

    Thanks all

Great movement. Simple, accurate and reliable. I think parts are becoming more difficult to source but they are out there.

And when looking at what they offer in terms of reliability, size and design they are both plentiful and reasonably priced.

I have been looking for one for awhile now. Especially the 2179,2383,2384,2400 but no luck. I saw yesterday one by @cristos71 for sale but wasnt able to snag it unfortunately do to not being able to contact him. Will continue the search. As you said @ConElPueblo for the size, design and reliability hard to find a better versatile and robust watch.

And a nice movement, with an equilibrated design. Also very pleasant to service.

Concerning parts, there are still available, but generally not from Omega - which does no longer supply plenty of them. So prices are going up (a genuine new balance complete is already very expansive!) and, obviously, at some point some parts will be out of order. That is why I have several donor movements in good condition - not the same as new parts of course, but still a decent solution.

I’m also a fan of the cal. 265 through 269. Underrated in my opinion.

@tdn-dk That is one of the dial variations i am after. What a sublime example. Great score at that price too! Your collection is just outstanding and i think you own all the variations i am hunting for :)

Parts are always in demand. Unfortunately you need to meet the post requirement to sell here but if they're all NOS and sealed, I suggest sorting them out and listing on eBay - the packaging will tell you what you've got.
