    Hi,

I've always liked the Omega 30 and this one looks interesting. On closer inspection I'm a little wary, and welcome your expert opinions:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/251214850737?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

    - The Seamaster script looks consistent with the 1963 era; however the 30 looks darker and bold

    - Most revealing is the caseback that is stamped "125.007-62", and the Omega database lists "125.0007", or 3 zeroes. It also has a *1063.

    - And of course it has Turler brand which appears to be properly scripted in Caps and with the umlaut.

    Your opinions are appreciated.

    Thanks

    Looks fine to my eye.

This dial has figures which are part of the dial face and not applied and they still have a nice crispness to their profiles which is almost always lost when these are refinished.

Omega database has MANY quirks and quite a bit of misinformation as well. Best used as a basic tool and not a bible.

Someone scored a nice piece for a fair price. These 30 m pieces make really nice dress watches and the 269 is a nice movement.

I'll say. The watch has a very uncommon textured dial and a genuine Omega band.

Something tells me that this watch may have been refurbished at Omega. Don't see bands like that on vintage watches very often. They are just too expensive. Another replacement would cost more than the new owner paid for the whole watch.

    A very good deal,
