·I know modded watches are not everyone’s cup of tea and usually are not mine either. However, I got my hands on an original 2915-1 movement that was good condition and couldn’t resist building something around it as sourcing original parts was out of the question.
So I was able to get a full case (case, bezel, case back) and dial from the newly released Ed White as the foundation of the new home. Found some broad arrow hands from the rendition omegas did a number of years back that would have been found on the 2915 as well. Paired it with this nice brown Genteel Handmade strap (great straps btw) to finish it off. Watch maker TM Watches did a full rebuild of the movement and put it all together for me.
It think it turned out quite nice and is a nice throw back to the original 2915 with the original vintage movement as the beating heart. It’s oddly become one of the favorites in my collection which was a surprise.
Anyway, thought I’d share!
