Hello, I'm new here and needed your help to determine whether this is a factory dial? The seller stated that this was a 1954 omega 2858 with cal 491. He also added that this has all original watch head. The only aftermarket is the bracelet. Thank you in advance.

Did the seller mention that the dial has been re painted?

He said it was factory original dial and not redial/repainted

The dial is definitely repainted and badly, movement looks rough as hell too with a bunch of different colors, that watch is pretty bad

Remarkable condition for a watch of that age, considering the condition of the movement and the corrosion to the case.
If you like the watch and how it looks on your wrist, that's all that matters though.

Adding to repainted: the seconds hand is obviously too short.
