Not posted in a while but just picked up this Military 6B/542 ref 2777-1 and wanted some thoughts on the dial...
Looks like the MOD redial versions but strangely has no circled T or Arrow.
Everything else is correct and very nice condition. Thoughts...

 

Looks like know example mod dials but like you said no circle T or arrow. Another different is the second marks are longer then other examples. But then it had the mod mint lume. I vote original mod dial but would love to hear others chime in on this one. Also crown is incorrect but they can be found. Post it over on MWR as well.

That's the 1956 pattern dial print which was used on the replacement dials for the 1956 re-cased 6B/159. I've seen this dial print a few times on the '53 like yours.
