Omega 2640 with stunning dial from 1952!

For sale is this gorgeous looking vintage Omega ref 2640 with stunning original textured dial. I believe this type of dial is called "clous de Paris" and it's just absolutely wonderful and in superb condition.

Ref 2640 is not rare but definitely uncommon reference for this era with center second and you won't find many of them for sale.

Sharp stainless steel case (36 mm) in excellent unpolished condition.
The watch was serviced last summer by my watchmaker so it's ready to wear.




Details about the watch:

Ref: 2640-4
Movement: Cal 283 manually wind. Nice and clean. serviced summer 2021. Movement nr 133xxxx dating this watch to ca 1952.
Crystal: New original Omega crystal with chrome tension ring.
Case: Stainless steel, screw in type case in excellent unpolished condition with nice and sharp edges.
36 mm without the crown.

Dial: White with golden markers and arabic 12 marker. Great condition
Hands: Original golden dauphine style hands with radim
Crown: Signed, small crack visible but works just fine
Strap: Nos vintage bed on rise style bracelet (18 mm) Not Omega but I thinks it fits well.
Function: Keeping time and winds smoothly.
