    Hi everyone,

I'm a new vintage collector trying to purchase my first omega timepiece. I came across this beautiful Omega 2635-10 and would like a second opinion.

    The watch is featured with:
    Automatic bumper movement cal 35
    Case about 33 MM

I checked the Omega vintage database and everything seems to fit the description.

However, I'm a little bothered by two things: 1. the crown with no omega signature. It doesn't seem like the pictures on the database has the signature as well as similar watches I've checked, but others do.. and 2. different coloring on the movement.

    Here are a couple pictures:

The crown is not a major issue; you can have it changed when the you have the watch serviced after purchase. That movement is in rough shape and a service is definitely needed. Figure a few hundred and up depending on whom you go to and how many parts need to be replaced.

I have always liked the breguet numbers and the dial seems to be original, but considering how many black dials are redone, more knowledgeable members will know for sure.

I really appreciate your input. I'm also curious - on the caseback it says "SWISS MADE" but on the movement it just says "SWISS". Is this normal? I've also noticed some omega watches would say "SWISS" under the 6 on the dial while others says "SWISS MADE". What's the difference?
