Hello everyone, I just moved this post from another forum. A good member tall me to move it here, maybe here I can find opinions about it.
Hi, just having a research Saturday, I was looking images of reference 2576, and found this auction, it is a 2576 with gold caped case, but steel lugs, I wonder if it is a common case or it is special one, I tried to find more like that one, but no success.https://www.barnebys.com/auctions/lot/469823018/omega-seamaster-automatic-ref-2576-men-1901-1949/

What do you think? Also I found several images of 2576 with holes side to side on the lugs, and some with no passing holes, also some of them with chamfers on lugs and some that does not, and some have rounded lugs, look at the link, it shows one with not so round lugs(https://www.austinkaye.co.uk/vintage-omega-pre-seamaster-gold-capped-automatic-watch-rare.)
According to what I saw the most common case is the one with rounded lugs and passing holes stainless steel case, but there were variants in lugs and finishes, and there I was not able to find more info.

On this link another example of not passing holes on lugs and not rounded, same reference 2576. https://www.timeline.watch/watch/1952-omega-seamaster-automatic-ref-ko-2576/

I also found this example of a different case for the same reference(ignore the crown), the gold cape goes only on case but it covers all the way down, exept for the lugs, on the first image the gold cape covers only top of case and also no gold on the lugs, but in this case the lugs have not passing holes. Last image shows the reference 2576 on the case back.
