Soooo lol This is my first post here, but in not new to the watch world. The other day I accidentally drop this watch (which is also one of favorite vintage steel watches). The crystal is cracked at the 6. If anyone can help out with sourcing a replacement, crystal code, or generic GS crystal number it would be of great help. I do believe it has a tension ring ( which can just be swapped out in replacing)

That's is a very beautiful 2576 and not a dial variety you see every day - hope it was only the crystal that got hurt 👍

Do you plan on installing the crystal yourself? Do you want it to be an original Omega crystal?

Lovely dial and The case look like in very good condition too with the very fat beefy lug. I may be wrong but the case can be unpolished too as I see the chamfer on the lug. I’d love to have one of this in my collection.

Thanks to all the responses. Yes, I do plan on replacing it myself and to my understanding around this era is when they where switching over to crystals with logos so it would be nice to have an original Omega crystal, but a generic is ok too. Also, yes, its a really nice completely original unpolished watch. Luckily only the crystal was cracked.

I would highly recommend only using an original crystal. The tension ring on a generic is not likely to be the same as on an Omega crystal...it won't have the step in it.
