Who did the restoration?

The original was unwearable in my mind, after the restoration it’s a nice looking watch 😀

I think the original looked better, especially in that first pic the watch looks okay if you like heavy patina. Restoration is well done and I certainly understand the appeal of a clean and shiny new-old watch.

Watch was serviced by Omega n Switzerland. If I'm not wrong, they are not doing the redialing in-house, but not sure who they use. I just love the layout of this dial with the applied logo and numerals. Seems this watch is from 1947 based on the serial number. The watch is on a 18mm omega deployment strap. And the case is 38mm without crown. In my view the 2505s are great value for money as these can be picked up fairly cheaply on the bay. The service is of course not cheap, but I still think compared to the price of a new Omega dress watch its a steal.
