Hello, have came across this omega 2503-5. Have checked the calibre and it dates back to around 1950s

Can anyone help verify the originality of this watch?
    Very much appreciated
    Rgds,

I am afraid the dial was upgraded at some point.

Dial is refinished and hands are either replaced or at least re-lumed. Case looks like its been tarted up for resale.

Thanks for your quick feedback. A shame to know that it's a redial. The price is at 500pounds. Seemed too good to be true.

Do you have the ability to return it? If your stuck with it, wear the hell out of it and enjoy.

My reading of the OP is that fortunately he was just considering it.
