    Hello,

I recently received this (not so little) gem ::love:: :

    s-l1600.jpg s-l16009.jpg

Unfortunately the plexi had to be replaced (if you know something with the right profile, I'm interested). Underneath the dial looks new. The crown is unsigned, old, with a sheet of inox crimped around a brass core, but I'm wondering if it is original... I have a "bowler hat" omega signed crown that is a good fit. Some google image search does show quite a few 2421s... all with different crowns ::facepalm2::. Can somebody confirm the shape of the original crown, and the fact that it is signed (or not)?

I'm also pleased with myself because I already had a late 40s omega buckle to go with it ::psy:: (can't wear a watch without an unsigned buckle if I know a signed one exists for it).

I don't think crowns from that Era were signed. Looks fine. (Is the stem bent, though?)

The crown is slightly bent, yes. I may succeed in straightening it though.
