Good evening Forum People!

Landed this one, and I have a few questions (again....🤔)?

It has 10.6 mil serial, so around 1944-isch.
The movement should be a 30T2 PC?
Not that I know what it means, but I have found images of the same.

The crown - I have had a hard time finding one with an Omega logo on it, so they should be without?
The crystal doesn't have any Omega logo either even though this one is cracked and will be replaced-
did they have a logo?
I do like the dial, hands and the case/caseback, the edges and profiles still look sharp and fresh.

Any other stuff that you can think about?
Feel free to comment (be gentle please...)?

The watch is a one owner sleeping in a drawer for decades (but works!).., so it really needs a service!
Sorry for the lousy pictures, not mine....but the sellers!

Cheers!

The crown is correct (and hard to find in case you needed one...)

One more watch or one more watch box 😁. I'm not judging, I'm the same.

Wow. Congrats on a great little watch..::psy::

Crown looks good.
Crystal not sure how easy it is to find a modern equivalent(fairly sure one can be sourced). Finding an original replacement Crystal. This more possible than the crown but I would say its still not an easy task.
The Crystal do not have an Omega engraving as far as I am aware.
The rest looks in good order.
I've heard that 30T2 are a joy watchmakers to work on. They are simple and solid movements.

I only need one more…
...change of underware or crown....
😁

Thanks Mate!
If lucky, the crack on the crystal might be a big scratch (it has happened to me before)?
I will show the watch to my watchmaker when I receive it, and then we will take it from there.

And Yeah, underwear.... Soooo overrated!
I always go Commando when I follow auctions!
😝

Cheers!

Got the watch now!

And its kind of charming, the dial looks really special?
So a new crystal, a service and cleaning, then I could start using it!
