·At 62, I can relate to the long P. While a short P has definite appeal (and appears unique to later models), I might go forward with the long P Speedmaster since it will remind me of what I felt like in 1957.

·Can anyone with the full Trilogy or just both the Railmaster and Seamaster LE's confirm or deny that the watch case is the same on both models? Or is the Seamaster actually larger by 0.5mm?

·After looking at various photos of Omega watch dials on their website, I have come to the conclusion that the first, original dial on the 60th Speedmaster with the long (horizontal bar) "G" is the real outlier. Every Railmaster and Seamaster dial I looked at appears to have the short "G" like on the "second generation" Speedys, at least to my naked eye on my 21" computer monitor. 🥱
I noticed that too cfracing! That said, didn't the original 1957 model have the long (horizontal bar) "G" and the tall 'P"?

·The Seamaster LE case is 38.5 or so depending on exact measure contact spot on case (no bezel). This is just along side of the crown to direct opposite side. Railmaster pic shows the same measurement spot on case, so it is indeed smaller. The lug length is just about 48 for both (I got 47.99 on the seamaster and 48.04 on the railmaster). To me the railmaster wears bigger on the wrist then the seamaster even though its size would state otherwise, simply due to the design.

Nerdbedusa's CK2915-1 does, but I swear the photos of CK2915-1s I've seen, like on the cover of the Speedy Tuesday Magazine, look like they have the short horizontal bar "G" and long-tailed "p" to me.

·^ cfracing -- I just searched too and see a bit of variety in the older CK2915-1 Speedmasters. Maybe Omega has (intentionally or inadvertently) provided two dials for the 60th, not unlike variations seen in the original model.

·At least the other Trilogy watch owners don't have to worry about the long tail "P" since there is no "P" in Seamaster or Railmaster".😁

·Coming back to the "G-Point" of the CK 2914-1, here once again the picture of mine, I already posted. This watch is an early 1957 example (February).

·The early examples came with the first version dial and the later ones with the second version dial.
I posted two pictures of the different fonts above.
As usual with vintage OMEGA watches, there are some weird abnormalities, but basically it's just like that.
Then there was a "0 version" dial, I have just seen once on a very early CK 2915-1. Would have to look for the photos...
And here it is. Sold by watchco several years ago for 10k US$. A good price considering the case was in poor condition as well. 😉
Here the "OMEGA" is different from version 1 or 2. It's a science in itself...
