That's a great point and I was going to note in my post that it would have likely meant my missing out on one at MSRP since I dragged me feet. That said I just prefer it more limited. Being an owner that shouldn't be a surprise, but I think it's just a bit more special when there are fewer of them out there. Either way it won't change my enjoyment or take on the watch really. My first Speedy was a FOIS and they made more than double the amount of these if I'm not mistaken and yet I love that watch.

The thing is, “limited” is not really limited when it comes to modern Omega editions, and they often come along added legends and details that IMO take away some of the honesty of the piece. By all means make it limited, but have the distinctive factor be a little bit more subtle because otherwise it’s just a cheap way to get some extra attention and money.
