They still seem to be pretty scarce so far. I know we WIS only make up a small proportion of worldwide sales but I expected to see more appearing by now.

Just got back. Unlucky 1957 Trilogy trip.....
In Amsterdam:
- Ace seems to be the only one who received and sold out a few.
- Tourbillon has a full waiting list, no one there knows when they will arrive
- Gassan haven't heard of the Trilogy (at least the branches I went to, even in Amsterdam Schipol airport)
In Germany's airports (as I was transiting):
- Frankfurt Airport Omega AD- Not aware of the Trilogy
- Munich Airport Omega AD - they also have a waiting list, should be received before Oktoberfest

Guess the sold ones are just RMs and SM300s?

The only thing holding me back is the sapphire crystal. If it was acrylic like the original 300, I'd be all over it. For now, I think I'm set on the Speedmaster, but please continue to post pictures and let me live vicariously through you. 😁

domed sapphire is the best of both worlds for this watch. it looks very true to the original and it is as functional as any modern Seamaster, Submariner, etc.

Couldn't agree more. Not only the seamaster reedition can be used as a modern dive/tool watch, but the execution (of the crystal) is perfect : domed, no colour distortion, minimal reflection.

And at least on the Railmaster reissue, the new crystal fits the case better than the original vintage RM (I've only handled one) which sticks out too far and looks bulging

If it helps pushes you towards one or another; there is no recessed lume, it’s not a sandwich dial. Everything is 11/10 and the sapphire crystal fits this perfectly; there’s no grey ring/haze issue on the edges of the crystal. And the size is perfect.

It doesn't help at all because I still want both haha. And you're right; what I've noticed about both the 300 and Railmaster is that neither have the milky ring. I guess I used the term "recessed" wrong in this case. Shame on me considering I have the SM300 MC. It's just this darn thing is a tad too big for my wrist but the new 60th Anniversary 300 is right in my wheelhouse of 38mm-40mm watches. AND that domed crystal tho...

Still sticking with my Speedy, but definitely teetering into the Seamaster 300 camp with you guys.

0103/3557...Not the number I requested, but I don't really mind.

Dibs if you ever decide to move it on (I just picked up my Speedy Tuesday, 0103/2012 😀 )

This is one main reason why I think the Railmaster is such a sleeper....I was in awe when I handled the watch in person @ the Basel preview and in Japan (an AD got one in). Same goes for the Seamaster but I just fell head over heels over the clean understated look of the Railmaster....that sapphire crystal is PERFECT this time around with the way they did the dome. My only small nitpicking would be the laser Omega etching....seems to be pretty prominent while I was checking the dial out at different angles.....would have been better if they ignored it or did something more similar to a Rolex laser etched coronet to be less conspicuous. Regardless, when people actually get these pieces in hand/watches are more distributed in wild I think not only the Speedy, but the Railmaster and the Seamaster will go quick ....they are that nice in person.

So guys, long time lurker here and long active member at WUS but Omega is where my heart is so decided to sign up here as well!

Oh and nr 0676/3557 reporting for duty!
What a watch, absolutely fantastic!
I'm selling my SM300 MC for this and can't imagine I'll have any regrets.

Just wow!
I'm located in The Netherlands and bought it with Schaap en Citroen. The only example they had apparently... Glad it's mine after a long wait!

Can't wait to contribute to this amazing forum!
Cheers lads

A non-update from Downunder:
"There is still no ETA for the Trilogy set for the Australian market. We hope to see some of the Railmasters coming in for the end of this month or the early next month. We will let you know once we have more information regarding the ETA."
(I emailed an OB in Sydney today to check on the Railmaster delivery date)

In the meantime, please keep posting those photos and reviews 😀

Are you sure about that? I think I have to respectfully disagree....I believe it IS a sandwich dial with recessed plots. Looking with my 5x loupe the lumed markers are recessed on my RM, it's just less obvious then we're used to on vintage pieces because the lume hasn't shrunken and it's nearly flush with the surface of the dial. I'll try to update with some detailed photos through the loupe... (Ok, this is the best o can do, not the greatest...)

On the Omega website it says:

"Features a black 'tropical' dial with vintage indexes slightly deepened to allow filling with super-luminova."

Maybe the terminology is incorrect; what I meant was that the cutouts for the dial on the lume markers are not visible on the trilogy sm300. They are distinctly visible on the sm300mc. Also I don’t know if the lume will actually shrink in the long run.

I will do that when I have the time, I'm also wondering how these two stack up to each other
