Very nice indeed! What color leather strap does the SM come with?

Light brown leather from memory.

4 x 300 in London too. Been called by two boutiques this afternoon.

I wonder how many people have multiple reserved at different ADs and OBs. Maybe the availability is greater than reported, which will have an effect on speculators and flippers.

I just put on the included nato strap and it looks damn good; better than I expected
So, your included NATO is black; earlier OP had beige. Do they give you a choice?

So I am going to be in Miami next week. I really hope they have a Railmaster at the OB when I get there. It's giving me GAS

Longbow---how did your RM on the bracelet? yay or nay?
The bracelet is probably going to be a finger print and scratch magnet and makes the whole combo a little boring I think. The NATO is really fun and very comfortable. The dark brown strap seems to be the most harmonious combo.

The bracelet is OK, so long as you don't compare it to anything else. But it has a hard act to follow in the Globemaster. My GM beats the Railmaster by a country mile.
The Railmaster is a fun addition to my collection, but the GM is still top dog.
Some nerdy stats:-
Railmaster weight, head only : 60g, plus NATO: 78g, on bracelet (all links):151g on my wrist: 141g
By comparison, the GM on a steel bracelet:159g sized for my wrist.

Surprised - the bracelet makes this watch in my humble opinion.

Argh, I wish they wouldn't over-build these watches and make them so heavy. I preferred my Explorer II over my SubDate's weight, and the SubDate was only 135g! My 2500 Aqua Terra is much lighter than either, which is partly why I prefer it.

I'll do a comparison with my 1970 C-case Connie some time; even on a "bricks" bracelet it feels very light, no doubt due to the crystal being Hesalite instead of Sapphir as on the Railmaster and Globemaster.

According to the Omega website the '57 LE Speedmaster has Hesalite. I would be interested to know how light that is "all up".

👍 Differences of opinion are what make watch collecting interesting. Let us know how you feel when you have tried yours.

Today will be a scary day. The first full day out in the real world for my RM on it's steel bracelet. Maybe I will have changed my mind concerning this combo in a few hours.

I look forward to hearing from you in evening about your day's experience with the Railmaster as I too have booked one for daily use.

Each watch comes with an individually colored NATO. The Railmaster has tan, the 300 has brown, and the Speedmaster has grey.

Edit to change the 300 color.

Are there any dimensions specs of these watches yet? I'm mainly interested in the thickness of the 300 and Speedy
